How to prevent eye makeup from melting down your face!
First of all, I think most of us can attest to how ANNOYING this is??? I know I can! There is nothing worse than a beautiful makeup job and then a couple hours later, its formed a huge black smudge under your eyes! Well here are a couple things to try to avoid this from happening at all!
2. Using a little less under eye concealer can be a big help too! A little goes a long way! (Make sure you are using the proper color---just a shade or two lighter than your skin tone.)
3. And the last thing to do is set your under eye concealer with a setting powder!! This is VERY important! This allows for longer wear as well!

Affordable Skin Care Routine!
I recently read in a book that EXFOLIATING can be the difference between okay skin and really great skin!!! I am a student and I am always looking for inexpensive ways to stay healthy, pretty and fit!!! I have been using the entire Clean and Clear skincare line for about 2 months...
My skin care routine about a year ago, involved using an eye makeup remover and wiping my face down with a wet face cloth. That has since become a little bit more intense but it makes a huge difference! I used Cliniques face regimen for about a year and found that it caused very large breakouts and I stopped using that the beginning of this year. The secret is trying out different cleansers and routines until you find the perfect one for you!!!
The Clean & Clear products that I use in the order I use them as follows:
Eye Makeup Remover
***
Makeup Dissolving Cleanser
***
Deep Action
Exfoliating Scrub (Used only 2-3 times a week)
***
Blackhead Clearing Astringent with Salicylic Acid
***
Dual Action Moisturizer with Salicylic Acid
| *** |
Acne Spot Treatment Gel wth Salicylic Acid (Used on minor blemishes and pimples at night)

"BIG SPENDER"
This color is fun and so pretty!!! Winter can feel so dreary sometimes.... Brighten up your day with this beautiful color!!!
***
"PEACH DAIQUIRI"
Girly girly girly!!! That's me in a nutshell, therefore this color is me in every way!!! LOVE IT.
EYE PRIMER...Don't go without ever again!!
Many people don't even think about this step at all... I can honestly tell you that it is completely necessary! Primer in general, is a must. But in order to achieve a high intensity color on the eye and long lasting wear, you must first apply the primer! There are lots and lots of these on the market. I used to use MAC Paint pots and Paints, but more recently I have tried Too Faced, and Urban Decay. I prefer the Too Faced primer!
Today I purchased the HD Primer by NYX! It is a fraction of the price and works just as well!!! This is a SOLID investment.
Highly recommended.

Don't have perfect skin??? Fake it!
Going from THIS (puke) :
Using 3 Products... Foundation, Concealer, and Loose Powder:
Last steps!! This takes a few more products but its worth the effort!
1. Applied a light bronzer to my cheek bones as a contour
2. Applied a Pink blush to the apples of the cheeks
3. Shaped and filled in my brows with a light to medium matte shadow.
4. With the light shadow I used for the brows, I contoured my nose just slightly.
5. Now for the eyes, Start by applying a light matte eyeshadow onto the entire lid.
6. Take that same medium brown color and apply to the crease.
7. Take a darker color and deepen up the crease color and bring that color slightly along the bottom lashline.
8. Take a frosty light colored shadow and put under brow bone and in the inside corner.
9. Wet a dark color of eyeshadow and apply as a liner.
10. Curl lashes and apply mascara to the top and bottom lashes. (I only ever do one coat)
11. Add a pretty clear gloss to the lip!

Fabulous lipstick!!!!!
To all of the ladies that are afraid of this:
And want a more natural lip?? Well this is the lipstick for you!!!
I have only in the last couple months started to really love lipstick! I used to link lipstick to old ladies. But ever since I began makeup school, its become my favorite thing to play with!! (I'm still obsessed with eyeshadow though, don't get me wrong) After doing a bit of demoing with YSL, I've been able to play around with some of their products and it truly is a luxury brand! The prices are high but the lipsticks are gorgeous. I find with cheaper lipstick, it isn't always the same color on the lips as it is in the tube. But with YSL you get what you see. Despite the $38.00 price point, it is definitely worth it..
The new line that has come out is called Rouge Pur Golden Lustre. My favorite color is 108. It is a sheer lipstick with a subtly pink shimmer to it. It is very natural and looks gorgeous on so many skin tones!!!! I love this color, I would use this as an everyday lipstick for sure! I find with some lipsticks, you always need to top with a gloss or else it looks really dull and matte, but this one is moisturizing and GORGEOUS on. I love it! :)
I may just ask for it for Christmas!!! :)
