LOVE THIS SCENT!!!

Comptoir Sud Pacifique in "Vanille Coco".... omg. Amazing!!! It smells straight-up delicious... hahah I don't even know how to describe how wonderful it is. You know how everything you smell at Bath and Body Works is so good? Well this is ten times better! Go buy it! 

**NEW** Creme liner from YSL

I've recently been doing volunteer work at a local YSL makeup counter, and I've had the priviledge of trying out some of there amazing products!!! I've been having so much fun experimenting with different lip colors on myself and various clients! Something that I tried, that I feel is blog worthy is the new EYELINER EFFET FAUX CILS CREME in "Cherry Black". I applied this eyeliner many hours ago, and it still has not budged. When I usually apply cream liners, I set it with a powder but this is not necessary with this product! It also comes in other shades as well, but this one was definitely my favorite!! They can also be used as a cream shadow.. You could accomplish a very beautiful smoky eye with this product! It is a very high price point, but it has proven very impressive. 

 

This product just came out in Canada a couple of days ago! They also put out a limited edition eyeliner brush. It's different from a regular brush because it is thicker at the base but comes to a nice point. 

Flawless Complexion

The last couple of times that I've done my makeup like this, I've had lots of compliments on how "Flawless" my face looks!! I wanted to share this with everyone because it was my own creation :

You will need the following:



 

All of these combined is my secret! After mixing these products, apply to your face with a foundation brush! 
When you have evenly applied your foundation mixture, Apply concealer to any areas that may need it. I use a mac concealer, and I also apply that with the same foundation brush. You can use a concealer brush, fingers, or a sponge too. Then work a translucent pressed powder into your skin using a large powder brush or powder puff! This sets the foundation and will hold all day long! 

Don't forget to add a little bronzer as a contour and a little blush on the cheeks :) But don't over do it, because then the focus will no longer be on how great your skin looks! 

MAC Liquid Studio Fix Foundation

I have to be honest!! I didn't loooove this foundation! It gives a totally fake finish. Not to mention it is thick and the colors don't truly match skin tones. Maybe I wasn't color matched properly, but I didn't have a good experience with it!

In the world of Illuminators!

Do you ever see that girl that just seems to have a 'glow'?? Well its because of this wonderful tool.

The first illuminator I'm going to show you is by Nars. 

The color is "Copacabana".

When you mix this with your foundation it gives off a very nice effect!! I highly recommend this for an special events or just that day that you feel like being a little extra beautiful. :) 

If NARS isn't available in your area, or its a little bit too expensive. My other favorite is by BENEFIT and it is called "High Beam". This one is nice because it comes with a built-in applicator. Illuminators can also be used to highlight your cheek bones and create an even more intense 'glow'.  

 

By far the CRAZIEST lip color I own!!

This shade of lipstick from MAC is called "Impassioned-Amplified". It is sooo much fun! I definetly feel like a funky version of Barbie when I wear this!! There are other ways of wearing it as well.. For example, if you aren't feeling how bright it is, then dilute it with a more neutral color! What people don't realize is that when you begin to mix and play with colors and different textures, that's when makeup becomes FUN! Just have fun with it.. There are no right and wrong ways of doing things, just do whatever it takes to reach the desired outcome. It is art after all :)

MY BIGGEST LASHES MASCARA

Lets face it... You can't always afford Dior Extase Mascara..... I found this mascara about a year and a half ago! It is inexpensive and little jewel I found a London Drugs!!!! First of all, I loooove the packaging.. Its pink, I mean what could be better? This mascara gives long and FULL lashes!!! The name says it all :) Don't be afraid to try cheap products. Sometimes their the best ones! (Not always, but sometimes!)

AVOJUICE SKIN QUENCHERS

I was given a set of 6 mini 30 ML bottles of these!! They're the PERFECT size for your purse, makeup kit, etc. I love these! Not only are they the perfect refillable size, but they smell great too!!! I keep one beside my bed, bathroom, purse, and school bag! Definietly worth buying :) 

YSL Pore Refining Primer

 

It is sometimes difficult to chose a primer that will work for you. First of all you need to understand what kind of skin that you have and how to reverse and work with any issues that you may have. YSL has 2 primers. The pore refining is more of a basic primer but the quality is definetly there!!! It glides on so smoothly and allows for long lasting effects. I do however like the idea of a pre-installed applicator! This is not ideal for a working makeup artist, but for personal use it is particulary handy!!! 

Shu Uemura also has a different kind of primer!! It is a MOUSSE formula. This idea is brilliant, because people are drawn to different ideas and techniques... I really dont think there would be any special benefits to a mousse, vs a regular primer. I do think that it is very innovative and smart!! It is all based on personal preference. 

DERMALOGICA BARRIER REPAIR FORMULA

This product is incredible!!! I've recently been using it as a treatment before I go to bed. It makes your skin feel like SILK!!!! I absolutely love it and cannot wait to try out more from this revolutionary brand!
